The Washington County Human
Development Council, Inc. operates seventeen, three-person, residential homes
throughout Washington and Frederick counties. Within these units, the
residents have the opportunity to live in a comfortable home under the
supervision of our trained staff. Various levels of care are provided
to our residents depending upon their individual needs. On-call
nursing, administrative, and maintenance services are available twenty-four
hours a day, seven days a week. Residents living in one of our homes
are afforded the freedom of choice concerning their home life while enjoying
home cooked meals, social and recreational activities, community outings,
and the opportunity to pursue personal spiritual preferences.
